DelMonaco

So this past weekend was quite busy. My Lady had a softball tournament (that I unfortunately was unable to attend) at UT Martin. She left last Wednesday and I didn't get to see her again until Sunday... I was starting to get withdrawals. But I was able to keep myself busy. Friday, I slept almost all afternoon. Saturday was eventful; I had to go to Chattanooga for my nieces second birthday, and on the way I got to pick my grandmother and spend some quality time with her. Then while at the party I was informed that I would get to be a special guest at the birthday party. Little did I know that it would entail wearing a big red fuzzy suit, with four fingered gloves and a big red fuzzy head. And if you can't guess who I was from this vague description, I was Elmo. Yes, I got to trump around in an Elmo costume, which quite frankly frightened the children more than it brought them joy. Alas it was still fun (for me at least).
I think Elmo should always wear BB.

Then Sunday rolled around and I was finally reunited with my Lady. I decided to make Sunday into a special date day starting with a wine tasting at DelMonaco Winery.

DelMonaco

We both had an amazing time tasting wines and walking around the vineyard. We would have liked to gone on a longer tour but the weather wasn't cooperating with us. We wound up leaving with two bottles of their wine to enjoy with our dinner and desert. Next we went to the grocery store (which I know sounds like nothing special, but we really enjoy going together) and pick out the ingredients that would end up making one of the greatest things I have ever tasted. Then we sat down to dinner, we drank wine and enjoyed our food. Then we crawled into bed and watched How I Met Your Mother, until we both fell asleep. It was an amazing day.

Summer Vacation!

With the Summer rolling around one thing sticks out in my mind... Vacation! I believe that everyone is entitled to at least one good break from this crazy world and be able to put your feet up and relax. Now being in the South there are may great places to take a trip... almost too many places. Basically I'm not sure where to vacation this Summer. I do know that I want to save up and take a nice trip with My Lady, I'm just a little fuzzy on our destination. We could hit up Orlando and check out Harry Potter World (btw My Lady and I believe that you are never too grown up to enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid, hell we think of ourselves as just big kids that like to goof off). I hear Harry Potter World is magical... pun intended...
Who wouldn't want to go here?!
I also think going to Charleston would be a great trip. I hear there are tons of places to go see and boom your're right there on the beach. Plus there's historic Charleston.
King St.

Where ever we go it's going to be incredible! Where would you suggest we go vacation this Summer?
I'm open to anywhere in the South!

New Layout; New Month!

Okay so it's a little late on the whole new month... but this is my first post this month.
I hope you guys like the new layout. I decided to get back into Photoshop and have some fun.
I have found some blogs that have caught my attention and I think they are worthy of checking out.
Curating Styles is one I found from Kyoto Maiko, and it's a great read.
Back Down South, which I found from Curating Styles
The West Prep, (which surprised me that "prep" existed west of the Mississippi)
and Red Clay Soul, which I found from just surfing though random blogs.

I hope you have a great day and enjoy these blogs as much as I have.

Have a good day Bro!!
